Niagara Falls NY (IAG): Niagara Aerospace Museum showcasing more than 100 years of aviation and aerospace history from local manufacturers. In former terminal building. Open Wednesday 3:00 - 8:00, Thursday-Sunday 11:00 - 4:00. Information at 716-297-1323, Facebook or Niagara Aerospace Museum.

Weedsport NY (B16) Whitfords: Sky Dive Central New York on airport. 315-535-7777.
Geneseo NY (D52, turf): National Warplane Museum on field. Open 10:00-4:00 daily in summer; Monday, Wednesday and Saturday October-March. 585-243-2100.
Glenville NY (SCH) Schenectady County: Empire State Air Museum within walking distance.
Rhinebeck/Red Hook NY: Prior permission is required to fly in to Old Rhinebeck Aerodrome. See the website FAQ page for details and a special on taxi fare from Kingston-Ulster (20N). Museum open daily 10:00-5:00 May-October. Weekend historic airshows mid-June to mid-October.
Warren VT (0B7) Sugarbush: Glider rides available, also summer soaring camps for adults and youth. 802-496-2298, www.sugarbush.org
Middletown, NY (06N, turf & pavement) Randall Airport: Valley Soaring Club - operates weekends, mid-April through December. Demo rides to the general public, training to club members in SGS 2-33's and ASK-21. Be aware of much glider traffic/activity on weekends.
Dansville, NY (DSV, turf & pavement) Finger Lakes Soaring - non-profit soaring school operates weekends, April through November. Demo rides to the general public, training in SGS 2-33's and ASK-21. We also have a CONDOR soaring simulator. Camping and shower facilities on-site. Food and groceries within easy walking distance. Call for more details at (585)444-6213

Great Valley NY (N56, turf): Katy's Restaurant across the street to the north of field. Burgers and fries.
Hancock NY (NK68, turf) White Birch: Pancake breakfast every Sunday, 8:00 am-1:00 pm, May through October. Benefits local charities. Airport phone (607) 637-5429.
Mayville (D79, turf) Dart: PIREP 8/2/2014: Two very nice ladies run a very good diner which is now open 8:00 am-4:00 pm Saturday and 8:30 am-4:00 pm Sunday. Bob Dart's son Greg is operating the airfield.
South Dayton (NY27, turf): Racer's Restaurant southeast of field. Pizza, fish fry, hot dogs, live bait and tackle. Open April 1 - October 31. 716-988-3301. PIREP 7/6/2014: tried this place out on Sunday and it was great.
St. Mary's PA (OYM): PIREP 7/6/2014: West Winds Restaurant, upstairs, with deck. 814-781-1552.
Glens Falls (GFL): Carol's Airport Cafe in the "terminal." PIREP 5/31/2014: small but the food is good and not over priced. Ramp fee ($5 or $15) on Rich Air's ramp. To avoid the fee, park on the north end of the ramp or in the area between Rich Air ramp and the runway.
Vergennes, VT (B06, turf): PIREP 5/31/2014: Red Mill restaurant at the Basin Harbor resort on Lake Champlain, just south of Burlington's Class C. Food is very good and it is a scenic spot where you can walk down to the lake and dock. A very nice destination.
Spencerport NY (7NK4, turf): Ridge Road West: Abe's Restaurant up the hill south of the field. Burgers, fries, ice cream. Open 8:00 am-10:00 pm year around. 585-352-9420.
Dansville NY (DSV): McDonalds, Arby's, Burger King, and Subway all within walking distance across the street. Truckstops of America (TA) at DSV. Open 24/7 offering a complete menu for hungry aviators.
Bradford PA (BFD): The Runway Bar and Grill in the airline terminal is open Tuesday-Friday 11:00 am-2:00 pm, Tuesday-Saturday 5:00-9:00 pm. 814-362-4836.
Ithaca NY (ITH): Second Landing Cafe in the airline terminal building. Sandwiches, snacks, daily specials. 607-266-0007.
